What are some ways to lower the power consumption of a gaming laptop that requires a 230W charger?


I have a Lenovo gaming laptop that needs a 230W charger, which I bought separately. The charger works fine for normal use, but when I play games, it stops working and I have to reset the power socket to make it work again. I suspect that the charger is not delivering enough power to the laptop when gaming. I cannot buy another charger right now, so I am looking for some solutions to reduce the power draw of the laptop while gaming, preferably using Windows settings and not third-party software.
